Mrs. Joyce Margaret Ware Bartholomew

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Caressant Care Nursing Home in Woodstock in her 89th year.

Beloved wife of the late Howard (1984). Dear mother of Russell (Claudette) of Innerkip, Robert (Suzanne) of Woodstock and Wendy White (Brad) of Innerkip. Dear Grandma of 9 grandkids and 11 great grandkids. Survived by her sister Iris Hawkins of Wellingborough, England. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews near and far. Predeceased by her sister Marjorie Harrison of Australia and a great grandchild Dalton Mark Collins. Joyce’s family will receive friends on Thursday, June 10 at Barthel Funeral Home (566 Queenston Road, Cambridge) from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 1-2 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 2 p.m. Internment Parklawn. In memory of Joyce memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Joyce’s family would like to thank the 2E floor nurses and staff at Woodstock General Hospital and the staff at Caressant Care Nursing Home for their care of Joyce during her stay.
