Joyce Ivy Pearson

Was peacefully Promoted to Glory on Wednesday, November 15, 2016 at her residence, Afton Park Nursing Home, Sarnia in her 95th year. Loving Mum of Janet (Stu) Day of Sarnia and Bon Pearson of U.K. Adored Nana of Shaun (Kelly) Clarke of Kitchener, Alan (Claire) Terry of U.K., Lianne (Greg) Gedcke of Wellesley. Special Great-Nana of Hannah, Megan, Bethan, Matthew and Noah. She is also survived by her brothers; Albert Terry and Terrence Terry and sister Doris Attwood, all of the U.K. Joyce was predeceased by her parents Albert & Ivy (Chapman) Terry, husband Stanley Pearson, sister Peggy Brown, sister-in-law Betty Terry and brothers-in-law Douglas Attwood and Pete Brown.

To honor Joyce's wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of the Nazarene, 1332 Hamilton Street, Cambridge N3H 3G5 (519)653-6036 on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 1:00-2:00 p.m.. A reception will be held immediately following the service at the church from 2:00-4:00 p.m. In lieu, of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated by the Family.

The Pearson Family would like to take this opportunity to extend a BIG THANK YOU to all the staff at Afton Park Nursing Home for the care, compassion and love our entire family has received over the years but, most importantly our beloved Mum, Nana, Great-Nana and Sister received.
