Kathleen Cecilia Burchell

It is with great sadness that Daniel (Butch)Burchell announces the passing of Kathleen his loving wife and life partner of over 50 years. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Lisaard House on October 30, 2014 after a lengthy illness.

Beloved mother of Sherry Cole (Bruce White), Michele Burchell, Dan Burchell (Krystol Galan) and Kim Brown (Robert). Kathleen was full of life and laughter and enjoyed liefs simple pleasures. She loved and was proud of her grandchildren; Daniel, Brad, Jennifer, Kirsten, Jessica, Robert, Danielle, Christopher, Kathleen, Caitlyn, Abigail and Faith and adored her seven great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her sisters Eleanor Kublek (Bert)and Debbie McKinnon-Dean (Kenny), her brother Michael McKinnon (Angela) and her very dear Burchell family. She now joins her parents Michael and Cavell McKinnon, her sister Jeanette Clost and grandson Robert Jr. Brown. The family wish to extend their thanks for the great medical care at Juravinski Cancer Clinic and their gratitude for the compassionate care provided at Lisaard House during her last days. Cremation has taken place and the Memorial Mass to commemorate Kathleen’s life will take place at St. Clement’s Roman Catholic Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 10 a.m. If desired, donations in her memory to Lisaard House would be appreciated by her family.
