With sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Kenneth Bald, one day shy of his 87th birthday on Saturday, November 19, 2016. Ken worked in the Planning Department at Eastern Steel for 5+ years as Contract and Builders Sales Manager. He moved to State Farm because he wished to work more with people where he became a claims representative until his retirement at 58 years old as the Resident Claims Manager out of the Kitchener Office. Ken often said “He had a blessed life”. He had the best parents, best wife and daughter, best son in law and grandsons. And the very best staff at the claims office. Kenneth was predeceased by his wife Joan on January 18, 2016 and his daughter Susan on September 29, 2016. He will be sadly missed by his son-in-law Robert (Bob), grandsons Andrew (Michelle) and Matthew, and his great-grandchildren Liam and Sadie. He was predeceased by his parents and sister. In remembrance of Ken’s life, a funeral service will be held at Knox Preston Presbyterian Church, 132 Argyle Street North, Cambridge N3H 1P6 on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation at the church one hour prior. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery immediately following the funeral service. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Knox Preston Presbyterian Church, Lisaard House or charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. With gratitude Ken’s family would like to thank the staff at Lisaard House for their professional care, compassion and support.
