Lois Patricia West

Lois was predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Rose West, and leaves behind her sisters, Georgia West (Peter), Fran Armstrong (Glenn), and Barb West-Jones (Rod). She was a beloved aunt to Damian (Roxanne), Jenn (Mike), Kendra (Tony), Chris (Leah), and Cam (Alyssa), as well as great-aunt to Avery, Barrett, Ben, Alex, Jack, and Max.

Lois loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, skiing, and scuba diving. Sailing was a particular passion, and she was a proud member of the Cambridge Power Squadron. She sailed extensively in Canada and the US, but her sailing trip around the UK was the experience of a lifetime.

Lois was also a talented and dedicated crafter. She spent many hours quilting, crocheting, knitting, and sewing, creating beautiful handmade pieces that were treasured gifts for family or donated to charity.

Lois faced her heath challenges with courage, equanimity, and good humour. She will be remembered for her generosity, adventurous spirit, creativity, and the easygoing way she approached life’s ups and downs.

A celebration of life will be arranged at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
