Manuel De Sousa

Passed away peacefully at Lisaard House, Cambridge surrounded by his family, on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at age 78. Beloved husband of Maria de Sousa. Loving father of Adelino Sousa and his wife Suzie and Jerry Sousa and his wife Marian. Dearly loved grandfather to Mya and Isabella. Predeceased by his sister Maria and brothers Joao and Jose. Manuel was the original Franchise owner of Harveys Restaurant in Cambridge (1969) and was a longtime member of St. Clement’s Roman Catholic Church.

The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home (566 Queenston Road, Cambridge) on Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday, April 1, 2011 from St. Clement’s Roman Catholic Church (745 Duke Street, Cambridge) at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Lisaard House would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Lisaard House for their special care and kindness. Prayers Thursday evening, 8:30 pm at Funeral Home.
