Passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Fairview Mennonite Home, in her 95th year. Beloved mother of John (Hansi) Poos and his wife Karen and Frank (Matzi) Poos and his wife Helga. Cherished Oma of Michael Poos (Tasha), Lisa Slade (Adam), Cassandra Poos (Conor Cusack), Rebecca Poos and Cody Poos. Proud great-grandmother of Brody Gibson-Poos and Daxton Slade. Mathilde is reunited in heaven with her husband Matthias (2010) and her great-grandson Cailen Cusack. The family wishes to thank the nurses, staff and volunteers at Fairview Mennonite Home for their compassionate care. Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 1 – 2 p.m. at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge (519-653-3251) followed by the Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Burial at Parklawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to The Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by her family.
