Pauline Ethel (Whitelaw) Stortz

Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Victor Austin Stortz (July 2025). Dear mother of Chris Stortz (Suzanne) and Judi Jessome (John Baverstock). Loving Nan of Corey Gmelin. Remembered by sisters-in-law Mary Renner (the late Jim) and Beryl Stortz (the late Joseph), and brother-in-law Orvall Stortz (Laura). Predeceased by her parents Charles and Marie Whitelaw, and by brother-in-law Ambrose Stortz (the late Teresa).

Mrs. Stortz was born at St. Mary’s hospital in Kitchener, Ontario and lived in Preston her whole life. She was a member of St. Clement’s R.C. Church and was retired from her private hairstyling salon.

Pauline’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Marg, Taylor, and the staff at Hilltop Manor for the compassionate and loving care provided during her time there. They would also like to acknowledge Dr. Page and the staff at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital ICU.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement’s R.C. Church, 745 Duke Sreet, Cambridge, on Saturday, June 20th at 10:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place and a private inurnment will take place at Parklawn Cemetery at a later date.
