Passed away peacefully at Lisaard House surrounded by family on Friday, February 1, 2013 at the age of 70 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Loving husband of Agnes for 48 years. Dedicated father of Mark (Liz), Christine (Adrian) Conrad; and Richard (Shannon). Proud Dziadzi of Brittany and Brandon; Kyle and Ryan; and Jaxon and Brody. Also survived by his mother Mary, and siblings Zenon, Andy, John, George, Barb and Henry and their families. Predeceased by his father Walter. Richard’s family extends their gratitude to the staff of Lisaard House, Cambridge Medical Daycare, and CCAC for their wonderful care and friendship. Friends and family may call at BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge (519-653-3251) on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Prayers at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement’s Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment at Parklawn Cemetery. Donations to Cambridge Medical Daycare at Cambridge Memorial Hospital or Lisaard House would be appreciated.
