Ricky, you are my youngest son and truly one of a kind.
You know how much you were loved and you always had my back when there were things you knew needed done.
I will surely miss our outings together where there was lots of laughter and singing to our tunes.. we were a silly pair sometimes but we loved it.
You will be missed very much, My Love.
Your Loving Mother

If you met Ricky, then you were smiling, he just could not be in a room that he hadn't lite up with his infectious humor. That seems to be the Holden way. He always had a laugh to share made sure all his stories been shared in order to keep all smiling regardless the situation. He was a loving caring gentle soul that loved his family with such enthusiasm. I consider myself very lucky to have known him even luckier to have married into this fantastic family that is before you today drowned in grief and sorrow. Ricky would not stand for this. All had to be laughing... many Angel's have gone before you Ricky and surly were there to greet you, unfortunately the ones you leave behind here will need your daily reminders that you are still amongst us making sure all have a smile. You will be forever missed and forever remembered. Be free of all pains. Be free of all burdens.
Sincerely JoAnne.

Rest in peace Rick. I find that statement unbelievable as we sat at the bar having a pint 3 weeks ago after running into you by chance. It was a great conversation until you had to head for home. Lots of memories we shared in that short time and they were all good memories about growing up in the hood and our mutual friends we shared. I have learned not to take those unexpected run ins for granted as we never know what tomorrow brings. I’m still in shock since hearing the news. God speed my friend until we meet again

The good old days when we all used to roller skate every weekend it was fun. Rick was amazing and new how to roller-skate he had a sense of humour he was just a really good guy you couldn't have asked for a better person. It's sad to know that he is gone and he will be greatly missed. My condolences to the family my prayers are with you God has gained an angel.

Just ran into Rick back in March at No Frills. We spent at least 30 minutes catching up on family and friends. Was great to see him, wish we had got together for that beer. Rest in peace Rick, we'll meet up again for that drink.
