Robert (Bob) William Smith passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on November 20th, 2016, in his 86th year. Beloved husband to wife Marcia Smith (nee McIntyre). Loving father of Ronald Smith (Tone), Mark Smith (Chris) and Daughters Barbara Smith and Carol Carpenter (Craig). Loving grandfather to Greg (Carrie),Katie (Allan James), Bryan (Megan), Alysha, Keifer, Aila and Brinn. Great-Grandfather to Paige, Riley, Hunter and Jacob. Dear brother to Jean Kennedy (Edward), Marlene Milne (Bill) and Donald Smith (Winnifred). Predeceased by his brother Edward Smith (Eleanor). A very special thank you to the Palliative Team at Para Med. A celebration of life will commence on Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 2:00pm – 4:00 pm in the main auditorium at the Fairview Mennonite Home at 515 Langs Dr, Cambridge, ON. In lieu of flowers and expression of sympathy, donations to Lisaard House, Innisfree House or the Alzheimer Society of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
