Robert Stjernegaard Hansen

Predeceased by his loving wife of 68 years, Alice Mary (Barnes).

Survived and lovingly remembered by their children, Paul (Maureen), Dave (Marion), Debbie Kuchma (Gerry), Greg (Laurie), Mark (Wanda) and Andy (Jean).

Beloved Grandpa and Great Grandpa to Michael (Crystal), Sara (Kris) and their children MacKenzie and Ryan, Nick (Hayley) and their children Charles and Liam, Stephen, Derrick, Pamela (Darryl) and their children Dylan, Ethan and Olivia, Mark (Kimberley) and their children Trevor, Cody and Adam, Craig (Madeline) and their daughter Klara, Brad (Kelsey) and their children Ryder and Leah, Andy (Cat) and their children Thomas and Forrest, Jake, Alaina and Mya.

Bob was born in Denmark but lived most of his life in Preston, settling on Waterloo Street with his wife Alice for 62 years. Bob loved sitting in his backyard, visiting with his family, listening to stories about his grand and great grandchildren and seeing lots of pictures of their

activities. He got such a charge out of seeing his great grandchildren and was so proud of all of his family.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff members at Revera Living in Cambridge and to the exceptional staff at Cambridge Memorial Hospital.

Cremation has taken place at Bob’s request. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barthel Funeral Home. A family Celebration of Life for both Bob and Alice will be planned for late November.

‘Grandpa’s not truly gone, Because this memory lives on, In all of us who loved him, Never to be forgotten’.
