He is reunited with his beloved wife of 68 years, Agnes (nee Westrop d. 2018). He is also predeceased by his brothers Jack, Bill, and Lloyd and his son-in-law Don Vernon.

Loving father of Robert Grant (Shirley), Mary Jane Vernon, Greg (Vasile), and Jeff (Gwen). You will be dancing with Agnes for Christmas! Bob & Agnes, our only true connection with Westrops. Sandra (my Dad's only sister) & Ted. Thank you for always being the half way point of our visiting family from the west. The drinks were always cold, a swim always an option and of course many memories shared.
Our deepest condolences to your family, The Gray Family

Uncle Bob was such a wonderful man. As one of the Westrop Grandkids, we went to pool parties at Rose Street and that is one of the few memories I have of my childhood. Learning to swim there.
I reunited with Uncle Bob and Aunt Agnes when we moved back to Cambridge when I was a teenager after living for years in Alberta. I was always welcomed by both but had a special relationship with Uncle Bob. I remember him always taking time for me and introduced me to his camera. And then with his woodwork the last time I was home.
I will forever miss him but I know he is back with Aunt Agnes.
As a family we were blessed to have such a gentle man in our lives.
My love always

I always looked forward to seeing Mr Whittaker coming into Home Hardware. He was a very pleasant man. We would always have a small conversation and I would ask what he was working on. He was so talented. I was amazed at his workmanship! I loved seeing pictures that his family posted! He will be missed:(

Uncle Bob I wish there were words to say how much you will be missed. I am very thankful that I had the chance to see you and Aunt Agnes as often as I did the past few years.

Love always Chris & Angela Westrop and family.

So sad to hear about Bob's passing.
Bob and Agnes were my second parents.
Memories of my time at 641 Rose playing Crib with Bob to being fed wonderful suppers. Where my parents did not attend any of my minor hockey games, Bob and Agnes were always there. Thank you and may you rest in peace.

I had so many chats with Bob at the Cambridge 50+ Centres- Allan Reuter Centre and David Durward Centre particularly in the wood shops. He was a talented man but most of all I will remember how respectful he was of staff and the others in the shops. Such a gentleman he was!
You will be missed Bob!
