Rosemary Ramsay

Rosemary was born on September 2, 1935 in Ufford, Ontario.

Beloved mother of Marie Ramsay and Teresa Ramsay, she was a steady source of love and guidance throughout their lives. She cherished her role as grandmother to Andre Roy and Jamie Buchholtz – especially during their childhood years, which she held close to her heart.

A devoted sister to surviving siblings Jack (Donna), her twin Ron (Bess), Marie (Cory) and Bruce (Joan), she was also a deeply loved aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She now reunites with those who have passed before her – her husband David; her sons Gordon and Gary; her parents Teresa and Whitney; siblings Ken (Dorothy, predeceased), Garnet (Ruth), Ralph (Shirley, predeceased), and Shirley (Gary); many members of the Ramsay family; and countless friends – carrying with her the legacy of a life marked by commitment, resilience, and an enduring capacity to love.

Mom moved through life with the spirit of a golfer chasing the perfect swing, a gardener coaxing beauty from the earth, and a card player delighting in every shuffle and laugh. She was always the first to rise, and eager to help, her zeal for life evident wherever she went. She will be missed dearly.

As were her wishes, cremation has taken place, and Rosemary’s life will be celebrated by her family privately.
