Russell was a quiet and reserved man who valued his privacy. He loved to collect stamps and coins, and avidly followed the stock market from a young age. He was excellent when it came to managing money. Above all, Russell loved his family. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his sisters Marie Julke and Linda Clarke (Joe), nephews and nieces Mark (Cathy), Chris, Raymond, Sean, and Tammy (Jason), great-nephews and great-nieces Amanda, Anthony, Michael (Shayanne), and Alexandria, and his uncle Gilles Labbe (Gertrude, deceased). He is also survived by many aunts and uncles in Quebec. Russell was predeceased by his parents Ronald Henry Traver in 1990 and Cecile Labbe Traver Martin in 2015. Cremation has taken place and a private urn committal service will take place at Parklawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association, Parkinson’s Society, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
