With sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Shelley Ann Roy on Sunday, August 27, 2017. She was 47. Shelley was a woman who loved and appreciated all animals, but especially bunnies and the chipmunks she saw roaming about in nature. Shelley enjoyed playing cribbage and bingo, and often found luck with scratch tickets. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband Remi Roy, daughter Katarina Roy, mother Sandra Daoust, father Max Daoust, sister Brenda Brading, and many nieces, nephews, and her large, loving extended family. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Shelley’s life will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at The Navy Club (30 Cambridge St, Cambridge, ON N1R 3R7) from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Cambridge Humane Society.
