Born in Corner Brook, NL, on December 3rd 1946, daughter of the late Madeline Walsh and of the late Stanley Tobin.
Our loving mother, our beautiful sister, a great-grandmother, also known as G-G and an awesome grandma and a fun aunt. Sarah was a great friend to many and was known by many as "Nanny".
She was an easygoing, sweet, kind, funny, honest, direct and quick with an answer kind of lady, with a great personality and loved everyone. She always had a gentle soul and her smile always made everyone smile. She had a real big heart and would do anything for anyone.
The things mom loved in life the most of course was her family; Robert who was the love of her life, her sisters, her brothers, nieces & nephews, her girls and most of all her great-granddaughter Lily Bella, also thought the world of her son-in-law Gary. She also had a love for music and know the words to every song, especially when sitting around a campfire. She loved being surrounded by family and friends and was always a trooper and game for anything.
The time she spent at the hospital before her passing, the Nurses and Doctors said that she was a sweetheart and had an amazing attitude and was glad to have met her.
She will be loved and missed by many.
She is survived by her daughters Mary Harris of Maine and Sharon Vincent (Gary) of Tide Head, her granddaughters Sabrina LeBlanc, Jerrika Ratté and great-granddaughter Lily. She is also survived by her sisters, Anne Moore, Agnes Higgins (Bernard), Marie Sheppard (Pamel) and Madeline Bishop; brothers Stanley (Judy), George (Sylvia), and Anthony, as well as many nieces & nephews. Besides her parents and lifetime partner Robert Lee, she was predeceased by her son David Wentworth, by her sister Gertrude and brothers Felix (Irene), John (Irene), Alphonses, William, Joseph "Joe" Michael and brother-in-laws Gary and Floyd.
