To the Brown and Leveille family
Our sympathies to you all. Adrian was one of the most genuinely kind people we’ve ever met. He always had a sincere “Hello and how are you today?” greeting across the yards. One time when our son was in the news paper for an accomplishment, Adrian took the time to cut out the picture and article and write a letter to our son, a letter of congratulation and encouragement. He was a true gentlemen and he will be missed by many.

Alida , Adrian and Arthur

Sorry to hear that our friend Adrian has passed away. We have many fond memories of Adrian as part of our family over the past many years. He was very close to us and to our boys as they grew up. He even made a special trip to Moncton to meet our grandson , Xavier. We were just in Ireland and thought of Adrian on several occasions while we were there.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Alida,
I was saddened to hear of Adrian’s passing. He was such a wonderful man. I knew him mostly as a friend of my parents, but after they passed away we kept up a friendship. He always made a point of letting me know how grateful he was that we continued to stay in contact. I know these last years have not been easy for you. I have some wonderful memories of Adrian as do you, and that is what will get you through. So sorry not to be there with you .

Alida, Adrian and Arthur,
I knew Adrian through my grandfather Ed Whalen. I first met Adrian during visits to my grandfather's house on Clark St in Moncton, he and Adrian could most often be found on the front porch chatting. I knew he was a great friend to my grandfather and an important man to my uncle Bill, aunt Maureen and my mother, Jane so when I got married we invited Adrian and Alida. We knew they were living in northern New Brunswick and the wedding was in Digby and that was a big trip and we didn't expect them to make it, but the day of the wedding he and Alida pulled into our house to say hello before the service. We stayed in touch after that through letters and cards(Alida's beautiful handmade cards). When my wife and I were trying to come up with names for our triplets we were looking for a name that started with A and Adrian was my pick, and Edward is his middle name, a connection for me of two great men and the friendship they shared.
I am so sorry for your loss, I will always remember the kindness Adrian showed towards our whole family.
