Annie Knights Richardson

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on June 18th, 2017 at the age of 95, Mrs. Annie Knights Richardson, of Oak Bay, Quebec, wife of the late Keith Richardson. Born in England on February 8, 1922, daughter of the late George Knights and the late Lily Churchill Knights.

She worked as a homemaker and raised her children, taking odd jobs as the need arose.

She loved to be with her family and friends and laugh and have fun. She also loved her pets and gardening and would never say no to a game of cards.

She is survived by her son Terrance Richardson of Oak Bay; her daughter Dixie (Wally Lyons) of Matapedia; her sister Sheila (Arnold) McIntosh of Woodstock, NB; Margaret Mann of Tide Head, NB; her grandchildren Margaret Ann (Daniel Poirier) of Campbellton, NB; Stephanie (Jeff Stewart) of Fredericton, NB; great grandchildren Burl and Kyle of Campbellton; and 4 great great-grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Keith, her brothers Ronald and Sidney, and her son Burl.

Funeral Service will be held at Maher’s Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St., Campbellton, on Thursday, June 22 at 2:00 pm. Visitation at the Maher’s Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne Street, Campbellton on Wednesday from 7-9 and on Thursday, at the chapel, from 1:00pm until time of funeral.

In lieu of flowers a donation could be made to the Brookside Cemetery in Pointe a la Garde or to the donor’s choice of cemetery.
