Arnie was born on the homestead at Matapedia West on Friday July 31, 1926 the son of the late William “Willy” Adams and the late Violet ( Carmichael ) Adams and was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his former wife Bertha ( Pollock ) Adams and son Bruce, as well as his sisters Nancy, Mertice and Veda and brothers Ron, Alec and Cam.
Arnie is survived by sons William “Bill” ( Suzanne ) of Fredericton, N.B. and Keith ( Sylvia ) Matapedia, P.Q., granddaughter Alexandra ( Kevin ) Fredericton, N.B. and great grandchildren Parker and Cole also of Fredericton N.B. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. A graveside service and burial will take place at a later date in Matapedia, P.Q.
