Bonar was the son of the late Arnold Law and Helen Mann.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Bonar left us peacefully, surrounded with love at the age of 80.
Bonar will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Anne Marie Law; his son, Jason (Lisa) Law; and his daughter, Joanne Meunier . He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Tyler Law, Michael Law, and Tyler Meunier ( Brittany), and his great-granddaughters, Kalia and Kaylee . Bonar was predeceased by his grandson, Devon Meunier, along with many dear friends, family members, and loved ones who passed before him.
Throughout his life, Bonar was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his community. He spent many years in the grocery business with St. Onge Supermarket, where he worked as Produce Manager, and later as Grocery Manager at Sobeys in Dalhousie. His love of the outdoors led him to a long career as a Salmon Guide and Manager at Pinkham Lodge in Flatlands, before finishing his career with the Restigouche Salmon Club. Bonar was also proud to serve as a Warden for the Restigouche Riparian Association. A man of service, Bonar gave back to his community as a Volunteer Firefighter for twelve years, where he rose to the rank of Captain. He was a dedicated member of his community and served on the Board of Managers for the Knox Presbyterian Church.
Bonar often said that the three most memorable days of his life were.... the day he married his beloved Anne Marie, the day his son Jason was born, and the day he found his daughter Joanne. These moments brought him the greatest joy and defined the love he carried for his family.
Bonar will forever be loved and remembered for his endless love, kindness, dedication, and the many lives he touched through his work and service.
Tight ligns forever Bonar...May the rivers always run clear and the salmon always rise.
We now have another Angel to watch over and guide us xo
