Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on August 17th, 2019 at the age of 71, Mr. Brian Theede of Campbellton. Born in Campbellton on January 20, 1948, son of the late Mary and Kenneth Theede.
Mr. Theede worked in the insurance industry for many years, and as a pillar of his community, served as President of the Campbellton Regional Chamber of Commerce, Campbellton Salmon Festival, the Restigouche Planning Commission, and most notably as the President of the 2003 Canada Winter Games in Campbellton/Bathurst. He loved the Restigouche River and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by sister and brother in law Elizabeth & Bill Pollock, brother and sister in law David & Deborah Theede, stepchildren Rick & Sarah Hutchinson of Campbellton, nephew Jason Theede, step grandchildren Ayden, Aaron, Dylan & Kasey.
A gathering will be held at the Maher’s Chapel, Campbellton, on Monday, August 26th at 2pm. Light snacks and refreshments will be served. Guests are welcome to say a few words if they choose.
