Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on January 4, 2011 at the age of 85, Mrs. Christina Janet Sillars Gregoire of Tide Head. Born in Campbellton on March 1, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Graham Sillars and the late Margaret Duncan.
She is survived by her daughter, Eileen (Ken) Targett of Summerside, PE., and Donna (Randy) Wysote of Listuguj, QC., her grandchildren, Matthew (Katie) Targett of Kentville, NS., Lori Anne (Jason) Denomme of Stratford, PE., and Christopher (Mitch) Wysote of Elgin, QC., her great-grandchildren, Abbie, Lily and Charlie Targett and Jacob Denomme and her sister, Jean Sillars of Campbellton. She is also survived by Sisters and Brothers-in-Law and many nieces and nephews. Besides her mother and father, she was predeceased by her husband, Bliss Gregoire, her step-father, Neil Adams and 1 brother, Donald Sillars.
A memorial service was held from the First United Church, Campbellton on Saturday, January 8th at 2 pm, with Rev. Cheryl MacDonald officiating.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Campbellton.
