Doris May Caplin Metallic

Doris was a wife, mom, sister, aunt, cousin, but especially a grandmother and great grandmother to so many. Spoiling her grandchildren gave her appreciation in life. Doris’ zest for life was evident in her active weekly participation in karaoke, bingo and dancing. Doris’ friends will miss her comical & entertaining company, and her family will miss her loyal & protective love.

She is survived by her daughters Carol Ann Metallic, Listuguj, Janice Knapp, Kingston, Ontario, Christine Iacovetta, Columbus, Ohio USA; her sons Joseph Metallic (Eugenie Samara), Ajax Ontario, Gordon Caplin, Listuguj, David Caplin (Carol), Listuguj; her brothers Ozwald Caplin, Listuguj, Peter Caplin (Sally), Listuguj and Donald Caplin, Listuguj. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, five nephews and three nieces.

She was predeceased by her husband Francis Metallic and her parents Bella Metallic & Isaac Caplin.

Funeral mass will be held at the St. Anne's Church, Listuguj on Monday, June 15 at 11am.

Visitation at Maher's Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne St., Campbellton, Sunday from 2pm to 4pm, 7pm to 9pm, and Monday from 9:30 until time of funeral.
