Born in Campbellton on 22 August 1929, Earle was the son of the late Charles Alexander Adams and Mary Louise Young. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family; having been pre-deceased by a brother Lawrence (Jean Poley) and sisters Dorothy (Seeley) Pratt and Olive (Joseph) Keeley.
Earle is survived by his loving wife of sixty-five years, Myrtle Phyllis (Flanagan) Adams. He is also survived by his son Keith (Judy Dean) of Campbellton and three grandchildren, Haley (Owen) Green of Quispamsis, Mark (Danielle) of Calgary and Brent (Samantha) of Dartmouth. He is survived by two great-grandchildren, Adam and Sophie Green and a number of nieces and nephews.
Earle was a caring and generous husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, whose devoted spirit inspired his entire family.
He was employed with Fraser Papers Inc for forty-six years, retiring in 1991. He would often share fond memories and energizing tales of working at the pulp mill in Atholville.
Earle remained physically active until his most recent hospitalization; he drew strength from bowling every Friday at the Campbellton Lions Centre.
A memorial service will be held at the First United Church in Campbellton at a later date. Earle valued his church friends and looked forward to their weekly gatherings.
