

We are profoundly saddened to announce the passing of our dearest Edward Martin Two Axe Early of Kahnawake, QC, Listuguj QC, and Clearwater, FLA, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on January 10th, 2021 at the age of 80.
Ed was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a devoted and loving husband of Brenda Gedeon and a treasured friend to so many.
Ed had a Masters of Business Administration and was a business consultant, a historian, political aficionado and an avid fitness buff. He was also a Veteran of the United States Armed Forces.
He is survived by his adoring wife Brenda Gedeon, his daughters Tricia Metallic of Listuguj, Candice Metallic (Scott Patles-Richardson) of Listuguj and Autumn Miller (Cory Barnaby) of Listuguj, 8 grandchildren, Brett, Morgan, Alejandra, Ty, Cayden, Aria, Ella, Aluk and 4 great grandchildren, Braylea, Hazelyn, Jax and Jet, his beloved sister Rosemary (Sikki) of Kahanawake and nephews Tommy, Joey and Todd of Kahnawake and great nieces and nephews, Kara, Thomas, Eddie, Brie and Slade of Kahnawake.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Maher's Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St., Campbellton on Friday October 8th at 11:00 am. To attend the funeral, proof of double vaccinations with identification card as well as masks are mandatory.
The family would like to thank the Campbellton Regional Hospital and all of our family and friends for their thoughtful and loving messages and acts of caring.
Ed was an ardent supporter of the education of First Nation youth. Therefore, an Ed Two Axe Early Scholarship Fund will be created by Indigenous Financial Solutions dedicated to the education of First Nation business students.
Donations can be made to Indigenous Financial Solutions in lieu of flowers.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Campbellton.
