

With sadness, we announce the passing of Elaine Linda Sharpe (nee Harris) of Robinsonville, New Brunswick, who died peacefully at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, NB, on Friday, April 4th, 2025, at the age of 91.
Born on February 21st, 1934, in Robinsonville, she was the oldest daughter of the late James Harris and Mary Harris (nee Murray) and wife of the late Wendell Sharpe.
Elaine is survived by her son Ken (Mariette) Sharpe of Riverview, NB; daughter Judy (Jean) Turgeon of St. Jacques, NB, and son Wade (John) Sharpe of Toronto, ON; siblings Don (Lois) Harris of Campbellton, NB; Rita (late Terry) Hilts of New Market, ON; Lois (late Lorne) Mann of Campbellton, NB; brother-in-law’s Bill (Carolyn) Sharpe of Winnipeg, MB; Howard (Shirley) Sharpe of Lethbridge, AB; grandchildren Kevin (Bronwyn), Paula, Cody (Jessica); great grandchildren Nolan, Sadie, Grace, Kailee, Kolbi, and Lacey, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will sadly miss her. She is predeceased by her brother, Murray (Jane) Harris, and her youngest sister, Irma (late Raymond) MacNair, sister-in-law Edna (late George Mahoney, late Bill Irvine), and Helen (late Ronald) Steeves, and brother-in-laws Frank Sharpe, and Don (late May) Sharpe.
Elaine was a faithful servant of the Lord, a lifelong member of the St. Andrews Anglican Church of Robinsonville, NB, a member of the ACW, a Sunday school teacher, and a member of the Robinsonville Golden Age Club. She was a master at crocheting, a craft that allowed her to weave together not only threads but also memories. She loved working in her flower garden and kept her yard and home in immaculate condition. She took joy and comfort in seeing her flowers peaking through in the spring. Elaine also had a gift for baking, turning her kitchen into a sanctuary of delicious aromas and heartfelt moments. Whether it was a fresh loaf of bread, delightful cookies, or squares, her treats brought smiles and comfort to all who shared them.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Elaine Sharpe on September 20, 2025 at Christ Church Anglican church, 23 Andrew St, Campbellton, NB.
Visitation will be at the church from 1-2 pm with the service from 2-3 pm. Internment will take place immediately following the service at the Robinsonville Community Cemetery.
Reception will be held, immediately following the internment, at the Robinsonville Community Hall, 36 Upsalquitch River Road, Robinsonville, NB. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Andrews Anglican Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
