Ernest Isaac

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Ernest (Ernie Ji’j) Isaac on July 18, 2023 at the age of 37. Ernest James Isaac was born in Sydney, N.S. to Ernest Sr. & Rita Isaac.

Ernie was a gentle soul and was adored by all who knew him. He expressed himself through music and loved to laugh and make jokes, always putting a smile on your face. His presence brought joy.

Ernest is survived by his mother Rita; Siblings Ian (Abby) & Blanche (Charles); Niece Anastasia and Nephews Joseph, Avery, and Ian Taylor; Great Nephew Gilbert; Godmother Yvonne Denny (Joe Paul); Godchild RJ Gould Jr; Life long close friends, Katrina (George), Ander, and Julie; Aunts, Uncles, numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded by his father Ernest Isaac Sr., Maternal grandparents, Frank & Mary Jane Gould, Paternal grandparents Abel & Anastasia Isaac, and Godfather Allison Bernard Sr.

A funeral service will take place at Maher’s Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne Street in Campbellton on Thursday, July 27 at 3:00pm.

The family will welcome family and friends at Maher's funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne St in Campbellton on Wednesday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
