Born in Archibald Settlement on June 15, 1936, daughter of the late Henrietta (Lapointe) Furlotte and the late Michael Furlotte.
She loved her family more than anything and always had a great smile to share. She had much love for her dog Jenny. She loved her work as a Teacher starting in 1957 in Dawsonville, NB, teaching three grades in same small classroom and retiring at the age of 55 while at the Lord Beaverbrook School, with stops on Belledune, Roseberry St. School, Apollo, Richardsville and Atholville in between. She loved her students and took pride in reading the Grad List every year and seeing so many familiar names.
She loved God and the Church. She volunteered with the C.W.L. for many years serving as both President and Treasurer multiple times. She enjoyed immensely playing cards from Poker to Dame de Pique, auction and many more. Reading was a passion and she was never far from a good book and a cup of tea in her spare time. She waited anxiously every fall for the start of the televised curling season and vigorously cheered on her favorite teams. She enjoyed Bowling twice a week for several years along with ceramics and paper tole. Many people's favorite Educator, our favorite Teacher in life.
