Henry Laplante

It is with shattered hearts & loving memories that we announce the passing of Henry Laplante of Dundee at the age of 92. Born in Campbellton N-B. on March 22, 1930, son of the late Josephine Roy and the late Cleophas Laplante.

He leaves behind his wife of 66 years, Gertrude Laplante, his 4 children, Ronald (Donna Marie) from Penticton B.C., Jeannie (John) from Farmington N.S., Michel from Bridgewater N.S. & Carole (Pat) from Bridgewater N.S.

Known as Pappy to Lori, William, Adam, Ryan, Beth & Rowan.

Great Pappy to Arabella, Carter, Vincent, Liam & Tyler.

Henry worked all his life for Noranda Mines in Murdochville, Quebec. Hunting & Fishing was his passion. He spent every spare moment in the mountains, on a lake, walking through valleys, or just spending time at his beloved camp. He enjoyed a nice long retirement of 36 years.

Please join our family at Maher's chapel in Campbellton for visitation starting at 1:00 pm on April 19th, 2022 followed by a memorial service starting at 2:00 pm.
