It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family of James Howard “Bee” Haley shares the sad news of his sudden passing at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, AB on Wednesday September 15th, 2021 at 84 years of age.

Howard leaves behind his beloved sons Eric Haley (Christine St-Laurent) and Curtis Haley (Nikki Haley) and friend Sonia.

Howard was a loving and devoted father to Eric and Curtis, the best father-in-law to Nikki and Grampy to Megan (pre-deceased), Allison, Emily, Josh, Keegan, and Tristan. He was extremely proud of his sons and grandchildren, rarely missing an opportunity to spend time with all of them, especially cherishing Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Visits to Grampy’s house were treasured and looked forward to by all of the grandchildren. Each having a special something with their Grampy. From long walks, beans, chocolate milk to whole made toast, Grampy was the most loving, caring and graciously wonderful man to be found.

Howard was so very proud of his Haley history and we smile fondly as we remember his famous words of wisdom “what do you expect, he’s a Haley”.

Howard was a firm believer in charities, frequently Howard could be heard saying “do what’s right and do what’s good. Be kind and help others when you can. The world can always use one more kind person.” Howard devoted countless hours at The fellowships of AA and the RCVAA volunteer Center where he was the President for many years. Howards generous heart, caring nature and altruism has helped countless families over the years to get back on their feet.

Viewing will be held at Maher's Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne St, Campbellton on Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 and on Monday from 10:00 am until time of funeral.

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil; For thine is the kingdom, and the power, And glory, forever. Amen

Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Howard my dearest friend. I will miss you dearly. I have never met anyone who comes close to Howard’s compassion and caring for every human being he met. His love for everyone and genuinely caring about helping everyone was exemplary. He literally saved my life 34 years ago. He taught me the lesson of having hope ( that was not tangible). He inspired me to a better person. His dedication to RCVAA was ever ending. His desire to help others and his dedication to that goal was never ending. He would literally give you the shirt off his back. His love for his boys Eric and Curtis was huge. They were his life and he adored them. Howard the world was a better place with you in it and even though you are gone from us physically you still live in every person you touched with your wisdom, knowledge and caring. Part of my heart is there with you now and always 😢❤️ Eric and Curtis your dads legacy lives on. He love for you both knew no boundaries. I am so sorry for your loss.
