Jack was born on August 30, 1943 in Campbellton, NB to the late Ephraim Letourneau and the late Elizabeth Thompson.
Besides his wife Catherine, he is survived by his children Charmaigne (John) Letourneau, Johnathon (Jill) Letourneau and Trevor (Bonnie) Letourneau. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Garrisson Kierstead, Aaron Letourneau, Cassidy Letourneau, Alexis Letourneau, Kaitlyn Firth, Courtney Firth, and Kylie Letourneau; 1 great grandchild, Dawson Letourneau; brother Douglas Letourneau, and sisters Shirley Love, Roberta Letourneau, and Deborah Hennigar. Jack was predeceased by sisters Dawn Pollock and Holly Johnson.
His greatest passion in life was his deep love and admiration for his wife, Catherine. Their bond was unbreakable, and their love profound. He treasured the life they built, the beautiful family they raised, and the countless cherished memories they shared. He took great joy in watching his grandchildren grow and pursue their individual interests. As he watched them grow into young adults, he felt immense pride in their achievements and the paths they were carving for themselves.
After his retirement from the Department of Transportation, Jack followed his passions of gardening, woodworking and music. He was always welcoming the visits of friends and family at his trailer in Broadlands where he played guitar late into the evening. Jack also volunteered, alongside of his wife Catherine, as they delivered quilts to those battling cancer throughout the region.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who cherished him more than words can express. His absence leaves a profound hole in their hearts, but his memory will live on in their love and the countless moments they shared.
Per his wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation at the funeral home.
