Born on December 17th, 1930, daughter of the late Loretta (Firlotte) and of the late Lunam Bolton.
Mavis is lovingly remembered by her husband Ralph Clark, her two daughters Marsha Gallant (N. Bay) and Cathy Gallant (N. Bay), grandchildren Scott Russell & Ashley Paquette. Dearly remembered by her sister Loretta McRae (Campbellton, NB) and her brother John Bolton (Edmonton), along with many nieces & nephews.
Mavis was president of the Campbellton Legion for many years. She was a dedicated member, always making sure the Veterans were well taken care of during her years of service. She held this position close to her heart, as her two brothers, Len Bolton fought in the Korean War and her brother John Bolton fought in the WWII. Hence, the photo chosen of Mavis is for her recognition and dedication.
Mavis loved to cook and entertain in her earlier years, hence, leading her to start up jams and jelly at the market. She made the best crab apple jelly that left you wanting more.
Mavis touched the lives of many people. She always had time to listen to you.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Campbellton Hospice in her memory would be appreciated.
Mavis will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Forever in our hearts.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Campbellton.
