Born in Campbellton on July 25, 1955, daughter of the late Benoit Laxton and the late Hilda (Harquail) Laxton.
She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, love for music and the love she had for her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Melanie (Jonathan) Renouf of Atholville; and Krystle (David) Renouf of Listuguj; two brothers, Ben Laxton of Moncton and Ricky (Blanche) Laxton of Campbellton; one sister, Debbie (Richard) Jeffries; her grandchildren, Taylor and Sierra Lemaitre and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her two brothers, Leo and Bernerd; and her two sisters, Sandra and Audrey.
A funeral service will be held and announced at a later date.
Donations to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick would be appreciated by the family.
