

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on July 4, 2017 at the age of 94, Louis “Doc” Berthelot of Campbellton, husband of the late Reta Arseneau (2005). Born in Nouvelle, QC., on June 14, 1923, son of the late Joseph Charles Louis Berthelot and the late Rachel Berthe Marie Mussele.
He worked for the CNR for 42 years, retiring as the Superintendent of transportation. Even after retirement his greatest passion was railway history and trains.
He was survived by his 4 children Karla, David (Joy), Stephen (Michelle) and Raymond (Monette); 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and his bother Raoul (Alvine) and sisters Renee and Martha. Besides his wife he was predeceased by 5 brothers,1 sister and 1 grandson.
A funeral mass will be held at St Thomas Aquinas Church in Campbellton, Monday July 10 at 11:00 am
Visitation at Maher’s Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne St., Campbellton, Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 and Monday from 10:00 am until time of funeral.
