Marjorie "Penny" Pollock

Born in Sussex, NB on August 14, 1943, daughter of the late Doris Firth.

She worked as a nurse for over 40 years, before retiring from the AVCell Mill in 2008, after which she devoted her time to teaching, volunteering and her family. Penny could always be counted on to help out anyone who was in need, and gave her time to numerous organizations including the cancer society, heart and stroke foundation, St. John ambulance, meals on wheels and the RCVAA just to name a few. She was an honest, kind, generous, loving person who always worked hard and loved her family. She was also an avid Toronto Maple Leafs Fan.

She is survived by her sons Jamie Willett (Nathalie) of Fredericton, and Jeffrey Willett (Alexandra) of Tide Head, her brothers Kerwin Firth of Atholville, Dusty Firth of Flatlands and Butch Firth of Lac des Lys, two grandsons, Nathan and Jeremy, three granddaughters, Kathleen, Lilie and Emma and one great grandson Kirk. Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her sister Cindy Firth.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic and social distancing protocols, a private family service will be held at a later date by invitation only.

The family would like to thank everyone at the NB Extra Mural Program and the staff of the Campbellton Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their wonderful care.

Donations can be made to the R.C.V.A.A. in lieu of flowers.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
