

It is with great sadness that the family of Mark St. Onge of Tide Head announces his passing at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Monday, July 21, 2025, at the age of 77. He was the beloved husband of the late Henrietta (Durette) St. Onge.
Born in St-Jules, Quebec, on July 27, 1947, Mark was the son of the late Augustin St. Onge and the late Irene (Sexton) St. Onge.
Mark was known by many as a hard worker and an active member of his community, proudly serving for more than 30 years with the Tide Head Fire Department. Above all, Mark loved spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his son Jason St. Onge (Jocelyn) of Tide Head, NB, and his daughter Charlene Hamilton (Robert Morrisey) of Cannington, ON. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Richard (Obie), Kim, Kat, Robin, Sara, and Luke. Mark is also survived by his brothers Ray, Pat, and Frank St. Onge, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and his wife, Mark was predeceased by his brothers Edsel and John St. Onge.
A Funeral Service for Mark will be held at Maher’s Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne Street, Campbellton, on Thursday, August 7 at 2:00 PM.
The family will receive visitors at Maher’s Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne Street, Campbellton, on Wednesday, August 6, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM, and again on Thursday, August 7, at the chapel from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
