She was born in New Castle, NB the youngest of seven children to Mary Beers and Herbert Forrest.
She graduated high school in New Castle and later moved to Moncton, NB where she was employed as a seamstress by T Eaton Company. After WWII in 1946, Mona married Arden Spencer Court and moved to Fleurant Point, Quebec where they raised six children. Lynda Joan (Murried) of Niagara Falls, ON, William (Mona) of New Carlisle, Qc, Robert (Lucie-Anne) of Escuminac, QC, Byron (Sandra) of Fleurant Point, QC, Terry (Karen) of Fleurant Point, Qc, Paul (Sandi) of Mississauga, ON. She has also left to mourn 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Mona was predeceased by her husband in 1969 at the age of 48 years.
Funeral service with be held at Maher's Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St. in Campbellton, NB on Friday August 20th at 2:00 NB time with visitations starting at 12:00 pm NB time. Interment will be in the United Church Cemetery in Escuminac Flats, QC.
A special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and all the support staff at the CLSC home in Matapedia, QC who made moms’ life much more comfortable in her final days and years. Thank you from the family of Mona Forrest Court.
