Rita Lavoie

Rita is predeceased by her beloved husband John Lavoie; son Edward Lavoie; sisters Evelyn Albert, Florence Flanagan, Bridget Lanteigne and Alvina Lebreton; brothers Alvin Bacon, John Bacon, Aurele Bacon and half-brother Maurice Bacon.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Lorraine Lavoie Riadi (Hanna), sister Theresa McRae, half-brother Robert Bacon, grandchildren Stephen Arseneault, Lise Steeves, Eric Lavoie, and Joanne Betts, and great grandchildren Jessie, Jamie, Jordan, Jaden and Melanie; as well as many nieces and nephews and loving friends.

The family extends their sincere thanks to the kind and compassionate caregivers at the Campbellton Nursing Home for the wonderful care they gave our loved one Rita in her greatest time of need. Also special thanks to all family members and friends who were there for Rita.

The funeral will be at Maher's Funeral Chapel, Campbellton, on Friday, May 1st at 4:00 pm.

There will be visitations at the Chapel 1 hour before the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Rita’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
