Robert Kearney of Campbellton passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on January 10, 2020 at the age of 95.

Bob was born in Hartford, Connecticut on October 1, 1924, son of the late Roy Kearney and the late Mary Gallagher.

Bob worked for the NB International Paper Company while a student at UNB, and in 1947 upon his graduation, continued his career with this company until his retirement in 1987. Bob’s active lifestyle, his zest for knowledge and his genteel manner ingratiated himself with everyone he met.

Bob is survived by his five children Katy, John, Ann, Tim and Bill, 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews throughout Canada. He was predeceased by his wife Pat and his brother Clifford.

Funeral mass will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Campbellton, Tuesday January 14th at 2pm. Visitation at Maher’s Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne St., Campbellton on Monday, January 13th from 7pm to 9pm.

The family would like to thank the Campbellton Regional Hospital staff for their wonderful care.
