Roland Guy Corriveau

C’est avec grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès, à l’Hôpital Régional de Campbellton, le lundi 23 octobre 2023, à l’âge de 90 ans, Monsieur Roland Corriveau de Campbellton, époux de feu Viola Roy (née Doucet).

Né le 26 mars, 1933 à St. Basile NB, fils de feu Alfred Corriveau et feu Eva Pelletier.

Il laisse dans le deuil ; ses filles Lise de Victoria, Colombie-Britannique et Lynne (Marc Savoie) de Campbellton ; ses fils Robert (Florence Thériault) de Grand-Sault, Gilles (Kelly MacGarvie) de Dalhousie, Claude (April Belliveau) de Campbellton et sa bru Diane (feu Luc) de Tide Head ; ses sœurs; Agathe Philibert (Hermel) d’Edmundston, Ginette Lapalme (Jean) de Riverview, Alfreda Racine (Clermont) de St-Basile; ses frères Lionel (feu Lillian) de St-Basile, Jacques d’Edmundston, Normand (Ginette) de St-Basile et Réginald de St-Basile; ses petits-enfants; Réjean, Chantal, Émilie (Francis Bellefleur), Alexandre, Michelle, Daniel, Mandy, Emma, Alyssa, François, Gabrielle et 4 arrières petits-enfants; Jade, Aiden, Adeline et Laurent. Outre son épouse et ses parents, il était prédécédé par ses fils Luc, Patrick et Donald ainsi que ses frères Yvon et Guy.

Les funérailles auront lieu en l’Église Notre-Dame des Neiges de Campbellton, lundi le 30 octobre à 11h00.

Visite au Salon Funéraire Maher, 33, rue Lansdowne, Campbellton, lundi de 9h30 jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles.

En mémoire de Roland, un don à la Fondation des Amis de la Santé ou au Restigouche County Volunteer Association Inc. - Banque Alimentaire serait apprécié par la famille.

La famille veut également remercier de tout coeur les préposées des Soins de Qualité Atlantik, le personnel de l’équipe de l’Unité Restigouche de l’extra-mural, le Dr Arthur Fontaine et sa réceptionniste Judy en plus du personnel de l’Hôpital Régional de Campbellton.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Monday October 23 2023 at the age of 90, Mr. Roland Corriveau of Campbellton, husband of the late Viola Roy (born Doucet) .

Born on March 26, 1933 in Saint Basile, NB to the late Alfred Corriveau and the late Eva Pelletier.

He leaves to mourn his daughters; Lise of Victoria, British Columbia, Lynne (Marc Savoie) of Campbellton; his sons Robert (Florence Thériault) of Grand Falls, Gilles (Kelly MacGarvie) of Dalhousie, Claude (April Belliveau) of Campbellton and his daughter-in-law Diane (late Luc) of Tide Head; his sisters Agathe Philibert (Hermel) of Edmundston, Ginette Lapalme (Jean) of Riverview, Alfreda Racine (Clermont) of St-Basile; brothers Lionel (late Lillian) of St-Basile, Jacques of Edmundston, Normand (Ginette) of St-Basile et Réginald of St-Basile; his grandchildren Réjean, Chantal, Émilie (Francis Bellefleur), Alexandre, Michelle, Daniel, Mandy, Emma, Alyssa, François, Gabrielle and 4 great-grandchildren Jade, Aiden, Adeline and Laurent. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his sons Luc, Patrick and Donald as well as his brothers Yvon and Guy.

Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Snow’s Church in Campbellton, on Monday October 30, 2023 at 11:00 am.

Visitations at Maher’s Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne St., Campbellton on Monday from 9:30am until time of funeral.

In memory of Roland, donations to the Friends of Healthcare Foundation or to the Restigouche County Volunteer Action Association Inc. - Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.

The family would also like to thank wholeheartedly the caretakers from Atlantik Quality Care, the staff of the Restigouche Extra-Mural Program, Dr. Arthur Fontaine and his receptionist Judy as well as the staff at the Campbellton Regional Hospital.
