Ruth Brillant

Ruth was born on December 6, 1943 in Ontario, to the late Raymond and Florence (Honeyborne) Ford. She grew up surrounded by her large family, she had seven other siblings, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Ruth was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others, and she incorporated that into motherhood.

She met her late husband André "Bill" Brillant in the late 60's, while at her part time job. They fell in love and married on February 12th, 1971; they then started a family of their own. As a mother she was generous, loving and kind. In her free time, Ruth enjoyed knitting, reading and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family, especially her daughters, grandchildren, sisters, brother and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth is survived by her three daughters; Susan Ford of Montréal QC, Danielle Brillant (David Roberts) of Campbellton NB, Sandra Brillant (Robert Morin) of Gaspé QC; her seven grandchildren Tristan, Makayla, Emma, Jonah, Marilou, Xavier and Benjamin all who will greatly miss their "Granny". She is also survived by four sisters, one brother and many nieces and nephews.

Respecting the family's wishes, there will be no funeral service and no visitation at the funeral home.
