Born in Runnymeade, Quebec on September 4, 1925, daughter of the late Ninian Falle and the late Mary Caroline (Mae) (Gillis) Falle.
She worked at many jobs throughout her lifetime and retired from the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital in 1991. She was a dedicated member of the St. Andrews’ United Church, the UCW and the Tide Head Seniors’ and was the organist at a number of churches for many years. She grew up with a love of music and started playing the piano very young under her mother’s tutelage. She played the organ at her first church service when she was 11 years old. Throughout the years she continually accompanied other musicians at various musical events.
She is survived by her sons, Charlie (Myrna) Nicol of Eel River Crossing; Glenn (Heather) Nicol of Lachine, Quebec; Gordon (Jenny) Nicol of Lodi, Wisconsin; her daughter Nancy (Danny) Nicol Lavoie; her grandchildren, Cindy, Karen, Marsha, Gino, Kevin, Christopher, Erin and Leslie; her great grandchildren Dillon, Nicolas, Alexander, Nora, Declan, James, Darcy and Ada and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Ray; her daughter Nora; three sisters, Betty, Marion and Joan; and two brothers, Bobby and Billy.
A funeral service will be held at Maher's funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St., Campbellton, NB on Thursday July 7, 2022 at 11:00 am with visitations starting at 10:00 am until time of service at the Chapel.
Donations to the St. Andrew’s United Church in Tide Head; Friends of Healthcare Foundation or a charity of the Donor’s Choice would be appreciated by the family.
