It's been two years since you left us to join Dad, Mom & Lynda.  We miss YOU.  There are so many moments where we would give anything to get that phone call ("Richard how would you do that?").  Richard would ask him:  "Give me advise on carving this bird."  The memories, the guitar & harmonica you played and you always had a song to sing.  Your sense of humor,  your patience, your excellence in photography, woodworking, carving are just  a few to mention.  Most of all you were the family peace keeper, a heart where we could express our feelings and hurts and you never had a harsh word or comment about anyone.  You are a model brother (little brother) whom we will always look up to.  We miss YOU every day.

It's been a year little brother.  Our family misses you every day.  A song, a bird, a flower, a carving brings back memories and tears at the same time for both Richard and me.  I miss all the laughter, your phone calls, sharing ideas, music and life in general.  I still haven't mastered how to make bread like you.  Keep me a spot beside you; we still have much more to share.  Love you forever.  Rest in Peace Wally....your big sister..

It is with very deep sadness,and many precious memories in Campbellton,that I heard of the passing of Wallace.Be it his Mom or Dad or brothers or sisters,they all have and had a sense of humor and such positive outlook on life,no matter what the situation.Everytime I met him,he was filled with laughter and life,and he never ever lost these gifts.To Marielle,daughter,and his family,I send my deepest condolences.Thank you Wallace for the many precious moments we got to spend with you,and your time with us.God bless the family and give them strength they need in the months ahead.RIP Wallace !

Today I lost a dear friend and mentor.  
This is my tribute to Wally Best:
-When I was 14, he taught me to tune a guitar by ear.  
-When I was 16, he voted to have me join his family band and replace the big shoes of Brenda Best.  
-When I was 20, he gave me motorcycle riding tips. 
-When I was 22, we dabbled in photography and went on mind clearing hikes. 
-When I moved to Ontario for University, he helped my homesickness with a hand carved reminder of the Maritimes. 
-Whenever I would visit over the years, I always reminded him of how much of an inspiration he (and his siblings) were to me.  He always brushed it off like it was nothing and came back with something witty!  I was either hanging onto every word he said or laughing until my stomach hurt!!
Wally, thank you for everything buddy.  Your last name is certainly a perfect description of you!!

Having lived on Pond road in Campbellton I walked to school with most of the best family and laughed with them ,enjoyed music and
