Born in Campbellton, NB on September 23, 1946, son of the late Freda (Glidden) and Ted Caldwell.
Bill was an avid fishing guide at Glen Emma and was passionate about his work and never turned down a game of crib.
Bill is survived by his sons Marc Caldwell of Saint Luc, QC and Samuel Gallant Caldwell of Gaspe, his cherished granddaughters, Hannah, Clara and Ava of Abbotsford, BC., his sisters Lynn of Brampton, ON, Nan of Matapedia, QC and B.J of BC as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his brothers Bobby and Harry and sisters Gayle, Glenda, Judy, Helen, Fran, Laurie and Kathy.
Funeral service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank all the nursing staff and Dr. Benoit of the CLSC in Matapedia.
Donations can be made to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
