Linda Dumlao

Linda M. Dumlao, 95, died peacefully in her home on February 2, 2026. Linda died just as she lived, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Florencio Dumlao, of 55 years. She was the beloved mother to her children Evelyn Sparrow, George (Agnes) Dumlao, Lina (Jose) Jamero, and Robert (Julie) Dumlao, an adored grandmother to Sean, Ryan, Stefanie, Emelia, Jacob, Max, Michael, Thomas, Julia, Olivia, and Sophia, adored great-grandmother to Cecilia and Cassidy, and a treasured sister, auntie and friend to many.

Originally from the Pangasinan Philippines, Linda made Chicago and later Cape Coral, Florida her home. She retired as a Registered Nurse taking care of countless Cardiovascular Intensive Care patients. In her spare time, she enjoyed Cubs baseball, gardening, bowling, playing Mahjong, and spending time caring for her family.

Linda’s legacy is not measured in titles or accomplishments but rather by her devotion to God and how she made people feel. Her charisma, generosity, and love for the Lord endeared her to all who had the good fortune to cross her path. She was often cherished as a pillar of unconditional love, wisdom and support. She will be remembered for her strength, resilience, and the lasting positive influence she had on her family’s lives.

Visitation will be held at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 950 Chiquita Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33991 from 10am – Noon EST on Friday, March 13, 2026. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 1pm at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 1922 SW 20th Ave Cape Coral, FL 33991.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM EST Saturday, March 14, 2026 inside the Mausoleum of Memory II at Coral Ridge Cemetery, Cape Coral, FL.
