Anthony Alan Yost, a man of unparalleled integrity and kindness, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in Carrollton, Texas. He set the ultimate example of what it meant to be a loving son, husband, father, and friend throughout his life.
Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on July 2, 1956, he was preceded in death by his beloved father and mother, Robert Leon and Belva Arlene, who undoubtedly shaped the values he carried through life. Tony was married to Linda Martinez for over 44 years, and their love was a beacon of strength and devotion.
As a father, he never missed an opportunity to express how proud he was of his daughters Katherine Rebecca and Christine Nicole, and his love for them knew no bounds.
For more than 45 years, Tony served as an incredibly talented and dedicated IT programmer and entrepreneur, leaving an indelible mark in his professional field. But beyond his career, he found solace and joy near the lake, where countless family trips to Texoma created cherished memories, always commencing with Willie Nelson’s “On the Road Again.”
A pillar of support and a rock that held his family together, he was an incredible provider, always ensuring their well-being and happiness. He embraced life on his terms, marching to his own beat with a resilient spirit and determination. He was T-E-R-R-I-F-I-C every single day and would never tell you otherwise.
Tony leaves behind a legacy of love, integrity, humor, and kindness that will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His warmth and wisdom will be deeply missed but forever treasured in the hearts of his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife Linda, and their daughters Katherine and Christine, who will carry his memory with love and pride.
May his soul find eternal peace as his memory lives on in our hearts.
