There are very few words that can adequately show the impact that you, Hanley, have had on our lives. We feel blessed that we were able to spend time with your parents shortly after you were born and were able to experience the joy that you brought to them. It was a joy that we will always remember. We were able to see the struggle and compassion that they had when you were first forced to leave your sister. We experienced the devastation when you left us. It is a love that we will always know.

In your short time on this world you made an enormous contribution, you made a difference. The purity with which you entered this world will be remembered by everyone that had the opportunity to be near the ones who loved you. Your mark will never leave your parents, your sister, your grandparents, your great grandparents or anyone else that loves you and loves your family. You have made us all better. You will continue to be a shining light in any darkness. Enjoy your rest now, because when we all get there you will be getting more cuddles, kisses, and loving than you can possibly imagine.

My best friend told me to keep the faith. Upon reflection I concluded it was the most meaningful advice I could receive. Since we will never know why, maybe we have no alternative. Mammom and I love you as ourselves. We know we can't feel the pain at the same level as you but ours is intense. We feel for the loss of Hanley, we always grieve when our grandchildren are hurt and we grieve when our children are hurt. We love you with our whole being.

Love, Mammom & Grandy

Mrs. and Mr. Edwards,
Losing a child is a experience no parent foresee. So I can only imagine what you both are going through. However, I want to assure that Hanley was a beautiful baby who made a significant impact in all of us taking care of her in the NICU and we will remember her fondly . I will pray to God to give you both the strength and peace during this difficult time.
With deepest sympathies
Eduardo M. Perez, M.D.

Sweet baby Hanley, your parents have loved you from the moment they knew they were having you and Riley. They are two of the kindest most gentle people we know and they will shower your sister with their love for you as well as their love for her. A friend said “precious Hanley- she’ll only ever know Jesus and Joy!”
You were here for such a short time but will be remembered and loved by so many. Love, Gary & M’Lissa

You and your sister came into this world on our wedding anniversary. You two are the best gifts we’ve ever received. You left us gracefully in our arms on National Daughter Day. You came and left on such wonderful days. We were there with you telling you how much we love you. I know you heard us because you opened your beautiful little eyes and looked right at us. You were so strong. You went through everything. You are just like your mother. Wonderful and sweet in every way. You even had my hair. You are making us even stronger. You and your sister have made us so proud and you will continue to do so. You will always be with us wherever we go. We will bring you home and we will remember you every single day. Not a moment will go by without you in our hearts. We will see you again some day. We will hold you again. Riley will look over us for you and we know you will look over all of us. We love you so deeply and so dearly. More than yesterday. Less than tomorrow. Elephant much, Sweetie Pie. Elephant Much.

Your proud and loving parents,
Erin & Chris
