Catalina Tejeda Gonzalez

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catalina Tejeda Gonzalez. She went home to be with Jesus on August 25, 2023 at the age of 71. Catalina peacefully passed away surrounded by her closest loved ones.

Catalina was a very happy and loving person. She loved cooking for others and feeding them until they simply could not eat anymore. Everybody who knew her knew she was a Godly person and had a huge love for Jesus. She absolutely loved butterflies and the color purple. This just confirms her beautiful soul and the faith she had.

She is survived by her husband Alberto Pena, her five children, twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and her six brothers and sisters. Her eldest daughter Patricia, her husband Primitivo, and their children Marcos & Vanessa; Daughter Beatriz, her husband Armando, and their children Miguel, Armando, Ricardo, & Daniel; Son Alberto, his wife Prisma, and their daughter Emilia; Son Hugo, his wife Meliza, and their children Santiago, Victor, & Emma; Son Pablo, his wife Felicia, and their children Lillian & Noah.

She was preceded in death by her parents Juanita Gonzalez and Victor Tejeda and her brother Marcel Tejeda.

Catalina will truly be missed. This is not a goodbye, but a see you later!

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 1st at 5:00 o’clock in the evening at Mundo de Fe, 200 Fitness Ct, Coppell, TX 75019.

Please wear any color as Catalina was a bright soul and loved color in her life.

Con gran tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de Catalina Tejeda González. Regresó a casa para estar con Jesús el 25 de agosto de 2023 a la edad de 71 años. Catalina falleció pacíficamente rodeada de sus seres queridos más cercanos.

Catalina era una persona muy feliz y cariñosa. Le encantaba cocinar para los demás y alimentarlos hasta que simplemente no podían comer más. Todos los que la conocieron sabían que ella era una persona amorosa y su Fe era inquebrantable. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y hablar De Dios con toda persona que ella conocia.

Le sobreviven su esposo Alberto Peña, sus cinco hijos, doce nietos, tres bisnietos y sus seis hermanos y hermanas. Su hija mayor Patricia, su esposo Primitivo y sus hijos Marcos y Vanessa; su hija Beatriz, su esposo Armando y sus hijos Miguel, Armando, Ricardo y Daniel; su hijo Alberto, su esposa Prisma y su hijas Emilia y Daisy; Hijo Hugo, su esposa Meliza y sus hijos Santiago, Víctor y Emma; Hijo Pablo, su esposa Felicia y sus hijos Lillian y Noah.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres Juanita González y Víctor Tejeda y su hermano Marcelo Tejeda.

Realmente extrañaremos a Catalina. ¡Esto no es un adiós, sino un hasta luego!

Una celebración de su vida se llevará a cabo el viernes 1 de septiembre a las 5:00 de la tarde en Mundo de Fe en Coppell, 200 Fitness Ct, Coppell, TX 75019
