David N. Strickland, age 79, passed away on September 6, 2026 in Carrollton, Tx. He was born on February 10, 1947 in Houston, Tx to Harry and Hallie Strickland. David was raised in Midland, Tx and attended Lee High School, Rice and Baylor in 1965, 1974 and 1976. He married Georgie in 1978. He was a computer programmer at Graham Brown and Gas Equipment. In his spare time, David enjoyed coin collecting and was an avid genealogist. His family and friends will always remember him as one that could always make them laugh. He is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Hallie Strickland and his step son Stephen Mooers.
